How To Pay A Bill

 
 

You may be charged for products or services that are not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). If there are costs for your visit, Quinte Health will keep track of the charges and invoice you for all uninsured hospital services monthly or when you are discharged.

Methods of payment:

  1. Send a cheque or your credit card number, along with the top portion of your bill (Remittance stub) in the mail to:

    Belleville, ON K8N 5A9
    Note: If the cheque is returned, there will be an NSF fee of $20.00
  2. If you have a bill inquiry or would like to make a credit card payment over the phone, please leave a message on the appropriate extension as we are currently working remotely, or email us;
    • Patients with the last name that begins with A – G, please call 613-969-7400 ext. 2795 or jleavitt2@qhc.on.ca
    • Patients with the last name that begins with H – O, please call 613-969-7400 ext. 2841 or kgower@qhc.on.ca
    • Patients with the last name that begins with P – Z, please call 613-969-7400 ext. 2355 or kgenereaux@qhc.on.ca
      Online payments and payments through the bank are not currently available.
  1. Cash, cheque, debit and credit card is accepted in person at Patient Registration at any of the four Quinte Health hospitals;
    • Belleville General Hospital – 265 Dundas St East Belleville
    • Trenton Memorial Hospital – 242 King St. Trenton
    • Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital – 403 Main St. Picton
    • North Hastings Hospital – 1 H Manor Lane Bancroft

Hours for Patient Registration:

Belleville General Hospital
6 am – 5 pm (Quinte 3, near elevators)

North Hastings Hospital
8 am – 8 pm (Inside main entrance)

Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital
7 am – 8 pm (Inside emergency department entrance)

Trenton Memorial Hospital
7 am – 10 pm (Near emergency department)
