Parent, Child and Youth Clinic

The services offered by the Parent Child and Youth Clinic (PCYC) have transferred to Children’s Mental Health Services, effective January 16, 2017. Having services streamlined in one agency will help make it easier for families – and those who work with families – to know where to go to get help for children and youth in need of mental health support.

“The relocation of services from the Parent, Child and Youth Clinic to Children’s Mental Health Services is intended to improve children, youth and their families’ access to high quality mental health services, strengthen worker capacity, create a responsive and integrated system and build awareness and capacity about mental health issues within our community,”  commented Susan Sweetman, Executive Director, Children’s Mental Health Services.

“The Parent Child and Youth Clinic has been well-respected in the community throughout its entire 42-year history,” said Linda Price, Director of Mental Health Services, QHC. “The countless lives that have been touched by the Clinic and its staff in those 42 years is something in which we should all take pride.”

CMHS is now the provider of all children’s mental health services in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties. You may connect with Children’s Mental Health Services by calling 1-844-GO2-CMHS (462-2647), or by going to
